• Anonymous User IDs: We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create a unique identifier for each user session. This ID persists across browser sessions unless you clear your browser data.
• Player Names: When you join or host a game, you may provide a player name. This is stored in our database and visible to other players in the same game.
• Game Data: We store game boards, game codes, player actions (marked cells, chat messages), and game status.
• Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with our app. This includes page views, feature usage, and game events. We do not collect personally identifiable information through analytics.
• Local Storage: We store tour completion status and app preferences in your browser's local storage.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain our game service
• To enable multiplayer game functionality
• To improve our app based on usage patterns
• To prevent abuse and ensure game security

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. Your game data (boards, player names, chat messages) is only visible to players who have joined the same game using the game code. We use Firebase (Google) to host our services, and your data is subject to Google's Privacy Policy for Firebase services.

Data Retention

Game data is stored in our database until you delete it or the game ends. We may implement automatic cleanup of inactive games after a reasonable period. Your saved boards are stored until you delete them.

Your Rights

• You can delete your saved boards at any time through the Board Manager
• You can leave a game at any time, which removes you from that game
• You can clear your browser data to reset your anonymous user ID (note: this will also clear your saved boards)
• Analytics data is aggregated and cannot be individually deleted, but you can disable analytics by blocking Firebase Analytics in your browser

Security

We implement security measures including secure Firestore rules, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and input validation to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Children's Privacy

Our app is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
